The Grammar School was founded in 1960 by a small group of Putney, Vermont families with the understanding that a child’s elementary school years provide the foundation for all future learning. Students are challenged by a core academic curriculum with outstanding programs in the visual & performing arts, music, foreign language, environmental studies, community service, and physical skills development.
